Rapid self-test for albumin in urine
The M-Albu-Check-1 Strip Swiss Point of Care is a qualitative immunochromatographic self-test for the detection of abnormal albumin levels in urine. Albumin is normally present in urine only in very small quantities or is undetectable. An elevated level of albumin may indicate impaired kidney filtration function.

When might albumin levels in urine be elevated?
An elevated albumin concentration may occur in cases of reduced kidney function. Factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated glucose levels or elevated triglycerides may promote the excretion of albumin in the urine. This test provides an initial indication and is not a substitute for a medical diagnosis.

Instructions for use

Easy to use at home
The test is carried out using a urine sample collected in the provided collection cup. Do not open the aluminium sachet until you are ready to use the test, and carry out the test immediately. The result can be read within 10 minutes.

Storage and use
Store the test between 4 °C and 30 °C and do not freeze it. Do not use the test after the expiry date stated on the label and the sachet.
