We would like to take a moment to inform you as a costumer about our privacy policy according to the new GDPR law of May 2018
As Herli Medical collects your data for the use of making our website function better, we would like to explain you which of your information we use and for what we are using it.

1. Collecting information for the optimalization of our website.
When you visit our website to purchase any goods for your own use. We could monitor your actions to know how and what your experience on the website is. For example: On your visit on the website, you would like to purchase and set of needles, we then can monitor your action to advise you other products next to the needles, which might come in hand, for example cleaning products.
The other thing we can do is follow you in the steps on the website, so if you have a problem, with for example choosing the right product, we could easy and quick help you finding your way and solving your problem.


2. How do we collect this information?
When you visit our website, we could monitor your actions due the use of cookies. These cookies are small texts which we save. By these texts we can monitor information about you as a costumer.
We could see for example in which language you visited the website, and from which country. We could also see where you live in the country ( note: we can only go as small as a city). 
Within these so called cookies, there are three degrees, namely the so called functional cookies which monitor the products you bought, without these cookies, our website isn’t able to function. Secondly there are the analytical cookies. These cookies we have made ourselves and help us to get to know how often you visited our website. At last there are the tracking cookies. These cookies make sure that if you for example look at the cleaning products at our website, the next website you visit shows these same cleaning products as an advertisement. 
If you as a costumer have problems with us collecting any of this information, we would do our best to make sure your information isn’t being used for profitable actions. You have the right to contact us, with questions about the information you agreed being used by us. According to the GDPR law of May 2018 we need obey your demand for adjusting the way we use your information. For example: we could make your data anonymously or delete it all, and even send it back to you.


3. What to do we do with your information collected by our cookies?
With your information we improve your use of our website. With monitoring your actions we have for example improve the accessibility of our website. So it is easier for you as a costumer to purchase any products you would like to have.
We would like to  that we  give some of your information to already to third parties like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Zendesk, Mailchimp, Stripe payments and Trustpilots. These third parties we need to make our website function.
We would also like to point out that when your information isn’t relevant anymore to use we make it anonymous.

4. Can you as a costumer control your data that we collect?
Yes, you can. By agreeing that you gave us permission to collect your data, for the use of better communication towards you as a costumer, doesn’t mean that you can’t take that permission back. According to the GDPR-law you have to full power to retreat the information you gave to us. For example you don’t want us to use the information about the purchases you made in our shop. You as a costumer then have to full right to contact us and tell us that we can’t use your information anymore.
You also have the right to be fully deleted from our database, or to be made anonymously, so we only use the date which isn’t personal.
According to the GDPR-law we are also legally obliged to make your data anonymously when we don’t use it anymore for the purpose you agreed us to use it for.


5. For which actions do we need to inform you as a costumer GDPR?
Off course we as a company would like to communicate to you in an as much transparent way as possible. For us as a company that means that we are going to inform you for which purpose your data is being used, which data we are collecting, and how we give you your right to contact us to not use your information anymore. Our standard procedure is that we keep your data in our system for 50 months. If you have any problems with this, you can contact us, and then we will delete your information.

6. How is your information being protected?
We would like to tell you already that your information is used by Google Analytics, Google Ads, Zendesk,Mailchimp,Stripe payments and Trustpilots.
We would like to point out that we don’t spread your information towards any other third parties. This means that we don’t give your information to anyone else than us and Google Analytics. In this way we would like to minimize the risk of your data being leaked towards other parties. If we need to turn to any third party other than the one we previously mentioned  to help us protecting your information we will be informing you first, and asking you for your permission.

7. Do we also use information from other sources other than our own database?
Yes we do collect information from other sources than our own. The reason we do this, is to get an insight in the geographic information of our costumer, as well as the age categories.
We use this information to provide you as a costumer with better services.
