Rapid pregnancy test using a fingertip blood sample
The BABYCHECK-1 WB Swiss Point of Care is a high-quality immunochromatographic self-test for the detection of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) in fingerstick blood. hCG is a hormone produced during pregnancy following fertilisation.

The test can detect an hCG concentration of 25 IU/L or higher and provides a result in just 5 minutes.

Early detection of pregnancy
A pregnancy can usually be detected with a urine test around one week after a missed period. A blood test may be able to detect hCG as early as around 10 days after conception.

As the test is carried out using blood, the result is not affected by the amount of fluid consumed or the dilution of urine.
