Specially developed for port catheters with Huber needles
The 3M Tegaderm I.V. Transparent Film Dressing is a transparent film dressing specially designed to cover and secure implanted port catheters in combination with Huber needles. The dressing is particularly suitable for patients undergoing long-term intravenous therapy, such as oncology and haematology patients.

Thanks to its innovative design, the dressing provides secure fixation and optimum comfort throughout the entire period of wear.

Unique non-adhesive window
A key feature of this dressing is the non-adhesive window. This ensures that the adhesive layer does not come into contact with the Huber needle or the skin immediately surrounding the insertion site. This reduces the risk of the dressing sticking to the needle during removal and enhances safety and comfort for both the patient and the healthcare provider.

Transparent for optimal monitoring
The transparent film allows the insertion site to be monitored continuously without removing the dressing. This enables any changes or signs of complications to be detected quickly.

In addition, the dressing forms a waterproof, breathable barrier against bacteria and viruses, preventing external contaminants from entering whilst allowing the skin to breathe. The patient can continue to wear the dressing whilst showering.
