Reliable fixation for intravenous catheters
The 3M Tegaderm I.V. Transparent Advanced Film Dressing has been developed to provide secure and long-lasting fixation for a variety of intravenous catheters. The dressing offers excellent stability, whilst the transparent film allows for continuous observation of the insertion site without removing the dressing.

By combining advanced fixation with high comfort, the dressing supports efficient catheter care and helps to reduce the risk of the catheter becoming dislodged unintentionally.

Advanced adhesive technology for optimum stability
The dressing features a hypoallergenic adhesive layer with a dual-pattern coating. This innovative technology ensures that the adhesive strength continues to increase during the first 24 hours after application. This ensures the catheter is secured ever more firmly, reducing the risk of displacement or detachment.

The special deep notch fits snugly around catheters and lumens and helps to limit manipulation of the catheter.

Continuous monitoring of the insertion site
The transparent film provides a constant view of the insertion site, so that any changes can be spotted quickly without removing the dressing.

In addition, the breathable film forms a water-resistant, sterile barrier against external contaminants such as bacteria, viruses and fluids, whilst effectively regulating moisture to maintain healthy skin condition.
