Weighing made easy
Wheelchair scales are an alternative to chair scales, bed scales and hoist scales, and allow patients to remain in their own wheelchairs during weighing.
This method saves time as the patient does not have to be transferred to a chair scale.

Hold function
The Marsden scales feature HOLD function. When patients do not sit completely still, an average weight is calculated and then "frozen". This means you have enough time to look at the patient first and then take the weight measurement at your leisure.

BMI function
This scale is equipped with a BMI (Body Mass Index) function.
This is an internationally used measure that shows whether you have a healthy weight in relation to your height . The BMI gives an estimate of how healthy your body is.
You can calculate a person's BMI by manually entering their height.

Tare function
This weighing scale features a Tare function. This function removes the wheelchair weight, leaving an accurate weight reading of the patient on the scale's display.
