Vicryl suture is a sterile, synthetic and surgical suture composed of copolymer. Ethicon suture is available in both coated and uncoated versions to improve visibility in surgery. Vicryl suture material is fully resorbable. Resorption of Vicryl is by hydrolysis and causes only minimal tissue reaction. After five weeks, absorption is essentially complete.
Vicryl suture is available in various thicknesses, lengths and sizes, attached to a needle or completely without a needle. Choose the optimal suture for your specialisation.
