Covidien Tracheolife DAR HME Filter
The Covidien Tracheolife DAR HME Filter has been developed for tracheostomy patients who breathe independently. The heat and moisture exchanger (HME) captures heat and moisture from exhaled air and returns it to the inhaled air. This supports natural humidification of the airways.

Integrated oxygen port
The filter is fitted with an integrated oxygen port positioned so that all inhaled gases can be warmed and humidified. This allows supplemental oxygen to be administered without affecting the operation of the HME.
