Suprasorb A Pro compress 10x10cm

The individually packed Suprasorb A Pro calcium alginate compress is used for the professional care of acute or chronic wounds that exude heavily. In addition to calcium alginate fibres, these wound dressings also contain cellulose fibres, which have a strengthening and stabilising effect.

When wound fluid is absorbed, an exchange of sodium ions with calcium ions takes place. The gel formed maintains the moist wound environment and also safely traps bacteria and cell debris. Depending on the amount of exudation, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days until it can be removed completely in one go. The long intervals between dressing changes promote wound healing.
