The chemical indicator for EO turns golden yellow upon sterilisation. However, the final colour can vary from green to brown depending on many factors, including compressive strength and exposure conditions.
In any case, there is a visible change that occurs after exposure to the sterilisation process, since the initial
colour is blue, which is compliant with the requirements (ISO 11140-1).
