Purdue Pegboard Dexterity Test
This manual dexterity test is specially created to measure and evaluate gross and fine motor skills.

How does this test work
This test is specially designed to test both gross motor skills of hands, fingers and arms as well as fine fingertips. The patient must try to place small rods, washers and nuts in a perforated table as quickly as possible. In the Purdue Pegboard test, the exercises must be performed by the right hand, the left hand or both hands simultaneously.
