The POZZI Pituitary forceps are used in gynaecological examinations and procedures. These forceps are designed to grip the cervix and hold it in place during various procedures.

Gripping the cervix:
For stability during procedures such as cerclage (shrinking the cervical opening), biopsies (tissue sampling) and conisation (surgically removing a conical piece of tissue from the cervix).

Traction fixation of the cervix:
Helps adjust the uterine flexion angle up to 180°, which is necessary for safe insertion and removal of instruments and insertion or removal of an IUD without risk of uterine perforation.
