Description:

OPSITE Post-Op is a unique post-operative dressing that combines the benefits of a high moisture-permeable film with a protective and absorbent non-adherent wound pad and an easy application system.

The specially applied adhesive layer of OPSITE Post-Op has REACTIC™ properties that react to the presence of moisture, resulting in high permeability.

• The plasters are individually packaged and sterilised with ethylene oxide

Properties:

OPSITE Post-Op is composed of two materials:

- Breathable polyurethane OPSITE top film.

- Absorbent non-adherent MELOLIN wound pad

• Protects the wound from contamination and cross-infections, reduces the risk of exogenous contamination by bacteria.


• Waterproof film


• High air and water vapour permeability


• The patented REACTIC film has a unique molecular structure with high air and water vapour permeability (of at least 10000 g / m² / 24 hours). This allows the wound and surrounding skin to breathe, minimises the risk of maceration and allows the dressing to be left in place for several days (twice as long as a non-woven dressing).


• Highly absorbent, non-adherent wound pad


• Absorbs exudate quickly. Ensures even distribution across the wound pad for maximum absorption and less risk of skin maceration. The wound pad ensures that exudate is absorbed with minimal trauma when the dressing is removed.


• Supple and comfortable


• Rounded corners / thin film

Reduces the risk of rolling up or loosening, keeping the dressing in place for longer.

• Hypoallergenic adhesive layer
