The SPIROBAC Spirometry Filter has been specially developed to protect both the patient and the spirometer during lung function testing. By filtering out micro-organisms from the inhaled and exhaled air, the filter helps to reduce the risk of cross-contamination between patients and equipment.

Accurate test results
The filter’s air resistance remains well within the maximum limit of 1.5 cm H₂O/L/sec across an airflow range of 0 to 14 L/sec, as stipulated by the joint guidelines of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and the American Thoracic Society (ATS). This ensures that the results of the spirometry test are not affected.
