The wound pad features a non-adherent wound contact layer. The silicone adhesive layer ensures that the skin is not or as little as possible affected. This makes this island plaster particularly suitable for highly sensitive and fragile skin, for example in:
- Elderly patients, a growing group who often have very fragile skin
- Patients whose skin is affected by illness, medication or long-term treatments
- Babies and young children whose skin is not yet fully developed and is therefore very sensitive.
