Waterproof, transparent adhesive plaster Leukoflex

Properties and functions

Leukoflex is a transparent, flexible adhesive plaster based on polyethylene film.
The polyacrylate adhesive mass ensures good initial and long-term adhesion.
Leukoflex is waterproof.
The flexible and stretchy material moulds well to body contours, making Leukoflex very suitable for use on moving body parts and can be torn by hand. Leukoflex also provides reliable fixation for longer periods of time.
The adhesive plaster is well tolerated by people with sensitive skin. Leukoflex can also be removed virtually painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue.

As Leukoflex does not contain any radiation-absorbing components, the adhesive plaster does not have to be removed during X-ray examinations. Moreover, the plaster does not enter into a chemical reaction with rubbers or plastics.

Use of the adhesive ring ensures more than 99.9% MRSA reduction within 6 hours.

Applications

- Waterproof fixation of compresses, gauzes, etc.

- Transparent fixation of tubing, catheters, probes, etc.

- Temporary waterproof covering of (occlusive) dressings for extra protection during washing, bathing, showering, etc.
