• Made of Vialon(tm) (polyurethane): These catheters are made of Vialon (tm) (polyurethane), which ensures haemocompatibility and high resistance.


• Ease of insertion: BD Insyte offer excellent penetration with about 50% less force than traditional Teflon catheters.


• Chamfer integrity: Thanks to the mechanical properties of Vialon(tm), the chamfers remain intact and prevent curling or deformation.


• Tolerance: The catheter is stiff during insertion and softens in the body. This quality, combined with the biocompatibility of Vialon(tm) and the integrity of the chamfers, reduces the risk of thrombophlebitis.


• Flow: The thin-walled catheter, for the same external diameter, provides a higher flow rate.
