INTRA-UTERINE INSEMINATION CATHETER
The insemination cannula is suitable for intra-uterine lateral artificial insemination with sperm.
The insemination catheter comprises:
- a distal flexible polyethylene tube with two lateral openings at the tip
- a rigid proximal tube, graduated, made of polypropylene
The intra-uterine insemination cannula has a standard Luer-lock connection.

Some versions of the insemination catheter are fitted with a rigid polystyrene inserter, which has a polyethylene stopper at each end, and/or a polyethylene mandrel covering a stainless steel rod.
At the Luer-lock end, there are two lateral handles aligned with the openings to allow for optimal positioning of the catheter.

-Outer diameter: 1.65 mm/CH5; inner diameter: 1.1/0.20; diameter of openings: 1 mm – with introducer
-Outer diameter: 2.00 mm/CH6 inner diameter 1.6/0.40 Diameter of holes: 1.3 mm – with inserter
-Outer diameter: 1.65 mm/CH5 inner diameter 1.1/0.20 Diameter of holes: 1 mm – with mandrel
