Hypafix Skin Sensitive
The ideal large-surface fixation tape for delicate, sensitive skin. The soft silicone adhesive substrate allows caregivers to strike the right balance between secure fixation and gentle care, especially when extremely sensitive skin such as baby skin, ageing skin, parchment skin or medicinally stressed skin is at risk. It can be cut to the desired size to suit any wound size. Even on contoured parts of the body, fixation becomes easy and freedom of movement is hardly restricted. Hypafix Skin Sensitive's specific adhesive properties keep skin cells intact and allow repositioning without stressing the skin. Pain-sensitive patients will appreciate the atraumatic removal, and even fragile skin is not at risk during removal or repositioning of the dressing. The high transmission rate of moisture vapour allows the skin to breathe and reduces the risk of maceration. Hypafix Skin Sensitive dressings are radiotransparent and do not need to be removed for X-ray examination.
