Elastofix

The Elastofix tubular bandage provides fixation and protection for post-traumatic and post-operative care. The bandage is used on intact skin for minor injuries to soft tissue or joints. It helps secure dressings and is easy to apply.

Properties and functions
Elastofix is a wide-mesh, elastic net bandage made of cotton, polyamide and rubber fibres. Normal temperature and moisture regulation of the skin are maintained. Elastofix is highly elastic and therefore moulds easily to the body contours without pinching, constricting or causing congestion. The bandage is securely fixed. These properties promote patient comfort. Elastofix makes dressing application quick and easy. The material can be cut both lengthwise and widthwise without any problems. Using the dispenser carton, the required material can be measured out quickly and accurately without difficulty. Due to Elastofix's elasticity and weave, four sizes are sufficient for all bandage types and techniques. Elastofix makes it possible to quickly change dressings and inspect the wound without having to change the entire bandage.
