Composition
Cutimed Siltec is made of polyurethane foam. A silicone wound contact layer is laminated on the underside. Superabsorbent particles are applied to the top of Cutimed Siltec in visible lines. The top side is covered with an air- and water-vapour permeable film.

Applications
✓ Chronic and acute wounds,
✓ Suitable for superficial, secondary-healing wounds.
✓ The adhesion by silicone not only protects new tissue but also allows inspection of the wound and reapplication.
✓ The dressing can be cut to size.
✓ Cutimed Siltec can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound and surrounding skin, or (whichever is earlier) until wound fluid is visible 2 cm from the border/edge. Local clinical protocols must also be observed.

Cultimed Siltec Sacrum foam dressing is used for the treatment of chronic and acute wounds, such as pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, malignant wounds, surgical wounds, second-degree burns and donor sites.
