The C-A-T® is a one-handed tourniquet proven to be 100% effective. Tests showed that the CAT completely blocked blood flow in the event of a traumatic wound.

The Gen 7 CAT uses a durable anchor winch system with a patented moving strap that provides true circumferential pressure to the end. Once the anchor winch is sufficiently tightened, bleeding stops and the anchor winch is locked in place. A Velcro fastening strap for the anchor winch is then applied, securing the anchor winch to protect pressure during victim evacuation. The CAT's unique double fastening system avoids the use of screws and clips that can become difficult to operate during survival stress or when fine motor skills are compromised.
