One tracheostomy tube for multiple applications
The Bivona Adult TTS Tracheostomy Tube has been developed to combine the functionality of both a cuffed and an uncuffed tracheostomy tube. Thanks to the innovative Tight-to-Shaft (TTS) cuff design, the tube does not need to be replaced when the patient’s needs change.

When the cuff is inflated, it creates an effective seal between the tube and the trachea, thereby reducing aspiration and optimising mechanical ventilation. When the cuff is deflated, it lies completely flush against the shaft, allowing the tube to function as an uncuffed tracheostomy tube.

Comfortable silicone construction
The tube is made from soft, flexible silicone material that adapts comfortably to the patient’s anatomy. This reduces irritation of the trachea and makes the tube particularly suitable for patients with a sensitive airway or stoma.

The wire-reinforced shaft increases resistance to kinking and compression without compromising flexibility.

Support for speaking and weaning from ventilation
As the cuff lies completely flat against the tube when deflated, air can flow more easily past the tube. As a result, the Bivona Adult TTS supports:
- the ability to speak in suitable patients
- weaning from mechanical ventilation
- intermittent or night-time ventilation
- flexible airway management without changing the tube
