Effective PEP therapy for airway clearance
The Acapella Respiratory Therapy System combines Positive Expiratory Pressure (PEP) with airway vibrations to loosen mucus and promote its natural clearance. During exhalation, positive pressure is created in the airways, whilst vibrations help to loosen trapped secretions.

This combination supports more efficient airway clearance and can help improve breathing.

Adjustable for each patient
The resistance and vibration frequency can be easily adjusted using the exhalation resistance dial. This allows the therapy to be tailored to the patient’s breathing strength and individual needs.

Thanks to the patented internal mechanism, a consistent combination of positive pressure and vibration is achieved.

Compatible with nebuliser therapy
The Acapella can be used simultaneously with a nebuliser, allowing medication and airway clearance to be combined in a single treatment. This can increase the efficiency of the therapy and support the administration of inhaled medication.

Depending on the model, connection is possible via a T-adapter or a direct coupling.
